2021 BMW X7 Colors, Specs, Reviews, and Release Date. German carmaker confirmed the arrival of the 2021 BMW X7. The debut will happen in October 2019, so all of the speculations about the arrival date are gone. The X7 is the company’s first full-size three-row SUV. The new images are already available as the 2021 model was presented at the LA auto show.
BMW is already offering imposing SUV lineup with premium models such as X5 and sportier X6/M. The X7 should represent a more family-oriented variant with the upscale and roomy interior. This SUV will share a lot with the X5 model, mostly from the outside. The exterior looks very modern and attractive. To this moment, a single drivetrain option is in the offer, and the optional engine is still a mystery.
2021 BMW X7 deploys the company’s famous design language
The exterior styling of the 2021 BMW X7 is amazing. The images from the LA auto show discover very large and modern SUV. For sure, X7 will once again deploy the company’s famous design language. Whatsoever, the new model shouldn’t arrive with significant changes. The X7 model looks a lot like the X5 SUV, but with more muscles. Furthermore, most of the features such as wheels or the grille are larger on the X7 model.
The kidney grille is huge and it reminds us of the grille from the Rolls Royce models. LED headlights are standard and LED strips are looking brilliant. The bumper up front looks distinctive, like the rest of the front fascia. The rear end hosts the same taillights as on the X5. Even the bumper is similar. The windows are also large and the optional moonroof is massive.
2021 BMW X7 interior can accommodate up to seven passenger
The interior of the all-new 2021 BMW X7 SUV offers comfort, spacious and upscale. Plenty of premium amenities and techs are standard. This is a luxury SUV after all, and the price is not that affordable. Plenty of styling cues are borrowed from the BMW’s sedan series.
That includes both the interior layout and the dashboard. This full-size SUV can accommodate up to seven passengers over the three rows of seats. The seats are very supportive and comfortable.
Techs inside
A combination of leather and Alcantara upholstery is astonishing. A big touchscreen is relatively new and it comes with an amazing interface. You can now control the audio system and navigation with ease. An optional Bowers & Wilkins audio system adds 16 speakers and is optional. Both headroom and legroom are ample and X7 is very recommendable for larger families.
2021 BMW X7 powertrain
The upcoming 2021 BMW X7 will arrive with the same drivetrain as its predecessor. It is a 3.0-liter six-cylinder that is generating 335 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque. The 2021 model will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds.
The drivetrain figures are really astonishing, however, BMW X7 could get an even stronger unit. A speculated 4.4-liter V8 could become an optional choice. This larger engine delivers 456 horses and 480 lb-ft of twists. Some car experts are predicting the 0 to 60 mph sprint in less than five seconds.
2021 BMW X7 price and release date
The approaching 2021 BMW X7 starts at slightly over $65,000. The X5 models are priced at $55,000 and new X6 will cost $62,500. There is even the “X7 M” model, which represent a high-performance sportier version. As we already wrote, the 2021 X7 will hit the markets in October 2019.
