Considering the fact that the new, fourth generation of this popular crossover came just recently, it seems pretty logical for 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe to continue without bigger changes. The recent redesign has brought a lot of novelties, so changes for the second year of production seem unnecessary.
Still, latest reports suggest that we could see one completely new version, never seen before in this crossover. If you’re a Hyundai fan, you probably know that the company has formed a performance division some time ago. Finally, there is a diesel version, available in three-row models only. This model features a familiar 2.2-liter CRDi unit, which is good for about 190 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque. All models use the same 8-speed automatic transmission.

Although the previous model aged pretty well, the new version looks far more mature. You can easily notice the new approach that relies on the brand’s newest design philosophy, which includes new grille design, narrow headlights, new bumper with much bigger lighting groups and ait intakes etc. Rest of the crossover suffered as well, so you can notice a lot of new details in other areas. Despite that fact that complete sheet metal has been replaced, the overall shape hasn’t changed that much.
