2020 Infiniti QX60 Redesign, Release Date, Specs, and Price. If you’re in search for a three-row crossover SUV with dynamic and stylish styling, luxurious interior and very good standard equipment, then you could consider the Infiniti QX60 It is an elegant and handsome vehicle which could be a great choice for families who want a luxury SUV which is spacious and at the same time relatively affordable and fun to drive. If you want more cargo space and better towing ability, then the larger QX80 should be a better option. The 2018 model year has arrived with just a few changes but we assume that the newest 2020 Infiniti QX60 will also carry over pretty much the same as the current model.
For the 2018 model, the QX60 Hybrid version has been discontinued because of the low sales. The standard version has gotten a new feature and it is a rear door alert reminder for the driver to check the rear seats and not to leave something behind before exits the car. And that is pretty much all. For the 2020 QX60, we expect the same and we probably won’t see any significant upgrades.
Design of exterior, Interior
The upcoming 2020 Infiniti QX60 will keep the same design of the outgoing model which looks sleek, handsome and attractive. The whole body shape is generally rounded and the front end will receive the brand’s recognizable design of the grille and headlamps.
Inside, the 2020 Infiniti QX60 is spacious and features a three-row seating configuration which makes it suitable for the large families. The front seats are extremely cozy and even the third row is suitable to welcome two adults. The materials inside the cabin are soft-touch and quality which makes it even more pleasant. The dashboard is fitted with a large 8.0-inch touchscreen for infotainment system.
Speaking of the equipment, the standard features include leather upholstery, a rearview camera, keyless ignition, power-adjustable front seats, Bluetooth, a moonroof, 18-inch wheels and power liftgate. The Premium package will add navigation, Bose audio with 13 speakers, remote start, heated steering wheel, and so on.
2020 Infiniti QX60 Engine and performance
The 2020 Infiniti QX60 will use the same engine as the 2018 model year. It is a 3.5-liter V-6 which is able to produce 295 ponies and the torque of 270 pound-feet. This engine will pair with a continuously variable transmission and will be available with either front- and all-wheel drive configurations. With FWD, this engine gets 20 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. With the all-wheel drive, it is rated at 19/26 mpg in the city/highway.
The current model is no longer available with a hybrid engine which has been in an offer before. It is a 2.5-liter inline-4 supercharged engine combined with an electric motor of 15 kWh. This powertrain has the output of 250 hp and 243 pound-feet of torque. We are not sure if the 2020 model year will offer it once again, but we sincerely doubt it.
Release date and Price
The price of the 2020 Infiniti QX60 should remain the same and it starts at roughly $49,000. The release date is not yet confirmed.
