Tundra is a bit of a relic at the moment. Everything about this model seems to be aging and out of date. The full-size pickup truck will be heavily refreshed for 2022.
You can expect so many upgrades that the next-gen Tundra will be ready to rival more established models in the segment. Toyota offers dynamic torque vectoring with trail and multi-terrain modes. We don’t know yet what will happen with 4.6-liter and 5.7-liter engines that are currently available. A hybrid setup could join them or it could replace them completely.

The brand-new 2022 Toyota Tundra will get a completely new design. The redesign will bring us a mix of new RAV4 crossover and a new Highlander SUV. It is a new Toyota’s design language and most of the new brand’s vehicles will wear the same or similar design. For a start, new Tundra will get new c-shaped LED headlights with high-mounted beams. Toyota’s Safety Sense 2.0 is also available and it provides the latest driver-assistance aids. That includes road sign recognition, lane departure warning, pedestrian detection, and adaptive cruise control.
2022 Toyota Tundra Price and Release Date
The forthcoming 2022 Toyota Tundra will now cost around $35,000, maybe even more. More precise details will be released later this year. The sales will start in the second half of 2021. You should also expect an even higher price for the TRD Pro trim level. Next-gen Tundra will rival Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, and Ram 1500 models.
